Lori Johnson MS, RD, LD/N, UF/IFAS Extension Lake County

 

Lori Johnson is the Family and Consumer Science agent for UF/IFAS Lake County Extension in Florida. In her role she focuses on nutrition, health and money management. She aims to provide program resources and educational opportunities to help improve health outcomes and financial success. Lori has been a Registered Dietitian for 15 years and has experience in public health, community and school nutrition. Before joining Extension, she worked for the Dairy Council of Florida, Brevard County School District and Brevard County Department of Health WIC Program. In 2012 she was awarded the Young Dietitian of the Year of Florida. Lori has served in many leadership roles. Since 2014 she has served as the Scholarship Chair for the Florida Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Lori has a Masters in Human Nutrition from Eastern Michigan University, completed her dietetic internship at UMDNJ and her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
